Warranty - Swags
On behalf of the team at Burke & Wills Australia, we would like to thank you for purchasing one of our premium quality swags. Our superior level craftsmanship will give you the confidence to take on any outdoor challenge for years to come.
Our swags are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for the life of the product.
This warranty does not cover the following:
- damage caused by misuse
- general wear and tear, including but not limited to corrosion, normal fading or scratching.
- condensation or neglect
- broken poles, zippers or hardware caused by excessive force
- damage caused by failing to store & maintain the swag properly
At the discretion of Burke & Wills Australia a swag that displays workmanship and material defects will be repaired, replaced or refunded under this warranty.
Our products are continuously innovated for improvements to features, materials and specifications. All products are therefore subject to change from what is outlined. Due to the natural expansion and contraction of materials, specifications are close approximations and are subject to commercial tolerance changes.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits given by this warranty are in addition to other rights under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to the goods and services to which the warranty relates.
TO CLAIM UNDER THIS WARRANTY
Take this product to your place of purchase. You will need your receipt or other proof of purchase. Should you not be able to provide proof of purchase with a receipt, a bank or credit card statement may be accepted to process your claim if we are able to determine the place of purchase. Failure to supply a valid proof of purchase may result in denial of the warranty claim. The warranty will be void should the swag change original ownership.
When making a warranty claim you will need to provide documented evidence of the damage in line with this warranty. Such documentation should include a short description and photos outlining the workmanship defects.
If it’s not possible to return your product to the place of purchase, the purchaser can alternatively contact Burke & Wills Australia directly on email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 03 9798 2111 where we will deal with the claim. Any expenses relating to the return of the products will be at the cost of the consumer unless approved otherwise.
